Then she sends me this…

I was beyond happy for her. They SO deserved this. I prayed and hoped for a beautifully healthy pregnancy for her, and then I prayed I would make it down to Tennessee for her birth. I was SO nervous.  I didn’t want to miss this. I wanted so bad to be there for her. She planned an all natural birth and to labor at home for as long as possible. Did I mention how nervous I was that I would miss this? Ah. Nerve wracking!

The last week in July came around… I was leaving for vacation August 1st so we both began to panic lol.  A few days later, Hayley text me and says she thinks its the beginning signs of labor. After a few hours and timing contractions, she was pretty confident this was it. I left Columbus Ohio and headed to her. its a 6 hour drive so I was hoping we timed this right. Hayley lives almost an hour away from the hospital so we met each other there when she decided it was time to head there. Talk about perfect timing…

 She labored beautifully. In fact, it was the most gorgeous labor I have ever seen. Honestly. I left this birth feeling so full

Kat had asked me months ago, 9 months ago to be exact ;), if I would have the honor of photographing the birth of her second baby. No questions asked, I was thrilled!

Even more exciting, they weren’t finding out the sex of this baby! More power to  ya both! I couldn’t do it!  haha Kat was scheduled to be induced March 12th 2013, at 5:00am. I knew she had big brother Carson super quick. So I figured this baby wouldn’t wait long either! I dropped my kiddos at the sitters at 6:30am and headed up to Dublin United Methodist Hospital. Kathleen labored beautifully. Didn’t even break a sweat Perfect hair and all! She quickly went from 5-6cm to a 7, to 9cm, then BAM, 10cm! Go time! 11:10 Momma started pushing. Miss Charlotte Jane was born at 11:39am. a perfect 6lbs. 13 oz gorgeous baby girl! No labor and delivery is ever the same. This by far, was the most amazing experience, esp. for Dad Bryan got to actually deliver his baby girl. He looked a tad on the nervous side (haha!) but did awesome! I cried. They cried. I will say it again. NOTHING like it! I am so thankful to be able to witness such an intimate miracle.

Big brother was waiting patiently in the waiting room with the rest of the family. He was SO excited to see if he was having a little sister or little brother. Daddy came out with the little sister onesie and Carson announced it to everyone! So sweet!

Congratulations you on your newest addition. Soak it all in! I cannot thank  you enough for allowing me to experience this with you! Thank you!<3
