As I am sitting here finishing up the last sessions of 2011, ordering prints, albums etc. I can’t help but think how very thankful I am. On the business side of things… I am lucky to have so many new and returning clients. I have met so many amazing people in this past year. I treasure all of my clients more than they know. I love getting a glimpse into their lives, and watching the kiddos grow or watching a newly engaged couples lives unfold. I never knew this would all be possible. I never knew where I would be now! I get to do what I love, all the time. It’s my job. How awesome! Never thought possible! Thank you for making 2011 my best year yet, I cannot wait to see what 2012 has in store!

On a personal note, blessed. I don’t say it often enough, how truly blessed I am. All around. I sit here and think, looking at the big picture… I am not sure how things can get any better, but I know they are about to be even more fabulous! 2011 was a GREAT year for our family. Lots of prayers answered and hard work paid off. 2012… will be WONDERFUL! I am so excited, and I look forward to seeing you all next year!

Kacey | 2012 Senior Model

Meet Kacey… one of my 2012 Senior models. For her senior session, we made a trip out to Bellfountaine where her horses are boarded. I will admit, I was a little nervous driving with her and her Mom, an hour and a half away. Complete strangers (well kindaaaa I photograph Kacey’s sister and nephew all the time, so I am being a bit dramatic here but just go with it!) mixed with a long car ride, makes for one pretty nervous photog. I mean people are crazy these days right?! I think I am pretty easy to talk to, pretty easy to get along with so I just went with it. Right before I left I proceeded to tell my husband where their contact info. was jusssst incase I should wind up missing hahaha! Turns out that this was the most relaxed, enjoyable hour and a half car ride with strangers I have ever had. (I mean not that I ride with strangers frequently ha!) 5 minutes into the carride I felt at ease. I felt like I had known Kacey and her Mom Kathy all of my life. andddd by the end of the entire trip we pretty much knew eachother front to back They even treated me to dinner! Talk about feeling AT HOME! Anyway, Thanks you two for such an amazing session and making me feel so comfortable with both of you!

Name: Kaitlyn O’Dierno, I go by Kaitee

High School: Washington High school
Activities: I’ve done volleyball and club volleyball. I’m doing competitive cheerleading this will be my 7th year. I’m in 4h and this is my 9th year. I like to bake. Hangout with my friends and family! I like to exercise. I love to tan!
Dream job: To own my own bakery!
Choice of college: Haven’t really decided but I’m thinking somewhere in Florida!
Major: So many choices to choose from I haven’t decide.
Random fact: I have a little brown spot on my eye

Why did you choose to represent Sarah Shambaugh Photo ? I heard Becca Little talking about her in cheer one day and decide to look her up. I saw she did really amazing photos so, I filled out an application to be an ambassador. When we met her I knew I was going to enjoy this senior moment. She was very kind, nice, funny and was very laid back with what I wanted to do. She had some cool ideas and my pictures are wonderful! She made this Senior experience one I will never forget

I had a BLAST with Kaitee! Loved the serious face girl! You made it look so good!

Introducing: Madi! Madi is one of my 2012 Senior Models. Can you say gorgeous?! She is simply adorable. I have learned a lot while choosing my 2012 Senior Models… and I have one fabulous group this year. I am proud to have Madi representing Sarah Shambaugh Photo. I loved reading over the applications that came through but I KNEW, reading Madi’s application that she would be one of my reps. So glad to have her!
